I have created one blob storage with CSV file. It in when I am trying to get data from the blob storage it fails with generic error message in customer insight but same data I can access from power bi directly
Rahul,
You may already know most of these steps but I am going to go through the whole connection process so that it isn't confusing and may be good for someone else to read.
1. To access a CSV or Excel file in Customer Insights from Azure Blob storage you need to "Add Data Source" in Customer Insights and choose Azure Blobs as your Data Source.
2. In Azure Settings in the left navigation choose Access Keys and then use the Storage Account Name and Key values to complete the Connection Settings in Customer Insights and push the Next button.
3. Choose the correct Azure Blob and push the Transform Data button.
4. Choose the Binary link next to the correct file in the Azure Blob Storage location.
5. After that you will most likely need to push the "Use first row as headers" button and you can then delete rows and transform the data in any way that that is needed.
6. Push Next after you are done with any data transformation takes, Customer Insights will Validate the Queries and Refresh. You should then be able to use your CSV or Excel data in Customer Insights.
Please let me know if this solved your issue or if you have another/different issue.
Thanks,
