Problem in Cue Stack

I am writing a code to assign records count of a table to a Variable.I assigned that variable to the source expression of a cue Page.But cue stack is not increasing or decreasing with the value of Variable. Cue stack working fine with flow field but how to use it with a Variable.

why do you want to do it with variable?

I am to count the records by making a relation from some other table and putting some conditions that is possible only through writing code . I am writing code on Onaftergetrecord Trigger of page .Code is running fine as record counts are comming correct.

I just tested this scenario on Order Processor Role Center by adding an variable as expression for SO Process activities page, i used Open Orders as an example. My count is displaying properly. I added my call in three different triggers of SO Processor activities pages

OnOpenPage, OnAfterGetRecord and OnAfterGetCurrRecord and my call is like this

Openorders := GetOpenOrdersCount; where OpenOrders is an variable and GetOpenOrders is function to return the value.

Did you add your call in all the above three functions?

I had added count variable on OnAfterGetRecord only and value was coming correct so i didnt need to add on OnOpenPage and OnAfterGetCurrRecord .But after adding same code on OnOpenPage and OnAfterGetCurrRecord Cue Stack list updating properly. Thanks for help.
