Hi All!
the question relates to dfo365 and MS Dynamics Office add-in
Is it possible to get a drop down list in excel field wihch is connected to data entity?
For the example is bellow I need to get all InventJournalNames wich are in a base? I want to compose the full list InventJornalName with associated reports and to publish them trough data entity engine.
moved to the d365 forum
Hi,
The inventory journal names cannot be opened and manipulated directly by making us of the 'open in Excel' functionality as the respective entity is not available.
You would have to create it yourself before you can setup and publish those data to d365fo.
Question:
Do you really need to setup inventory journal names via the Excel addin?
Those journals are usually setup once only and I cannot see the necessity to regularly create new journals and publish them to d365fo.
Best regards,
Ludwig
I not need to setup the InventJornalName. I need to compose the list wich contains links between InventJornalName and ERFormatMapping and then to load it to InventJornalNameReport. But InventJornalNameReport table contains only RefRecId based fields and it's not possible to fill that list for a usal man.
