"An unexpected client error has occured" in the PROD. Environment.

Hi, community,

My Client faces an error message stating /An unexpected client error has occurred/ in the PROD. Environment. and the error is not specific to any user or any specific form.

Some examples of when the client receives the error are: if the user clicks on any menu or does vendor enquiries under /All vendor/ form etc.

Please Advice for any possible solution.

Which D365 app are you using? This forum is about D365 in general, while your question seems to be about a particular product. I guess it's Finance and Operations; please confirm (and I'll move it to the right forum).

Hi,

Our team looked into the information and found out what could be causing the error

First of all, according to the description in the forum post, turning on the feature of grid control may lead to unexpected client-side errors, you can try to turn off this feature.

Secondly, according to the description of one of the posts on the uipath forums, you can try to clear the usage data, which may resolve your issue.

In addition, because the error headers for this issue are so common, we are unable to determine whether it is internal to your system or your actions that are causing the issue. So, could you please provide more information about the error? For example, show diagnostic information .This will allow our team to more quickly pinpoint the cause of your issue.

Hi Rudy, Martin,

Correct, this is for D365 F&O.

What I see in Future Management is that you cannot turn off the Grid Control.

and the ''unexpected client error'' is random through D365 F&O.

Based on D365 update 33 and 34.

Clearing usage data does not help.

Some people in the product feedback Yammer forum said that a client software was to blame, either LastPass or an antivir. Check out if your case isn't the same/similar.

To collect more details, try development tools in browser (F12) and find the diagnostic information in logs (on LCS).

If the Extension is LastPass:

The reason the error is being thrown is that LastPass is, by default, configured to show its icon on a screen where it sees the possibility to autofill and the D365 Vendor record screen can’t handle it.

I’ve configured LastPass to not show its icon on the screen. That configuration is here:
