We have a client where suddenly one of her Smartlists returns no values. We can log into GP as someone else and the results are there and she can go to another computer and the results are there. It appears to be some local Windows profile issue. I tried deleting all files in her %temp% folder and any other tnt files. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
I don't believe I've seen this type of issue....
When you mention logging into GP on that machine as someone else, are you still logged on as this one user's Windows account, or the other user's Windows account and GP login?
Is this user using roaming profiles at all, where they have their own Dex.ini and Dynamics.set file, not using the default files that are in the GP directory on that machine?
Does the user physically login to the workstation or server, not using anything additional like RemoteApp, Citrix, etc?
Thanks
Chalk this up to operator error. This client has hundreds of Smartlists that perform specific functions. I had her show me the search criteria so I then went into SSMS and built essentially the same query. It returned no results. One of the search criteria was the batch name. When I went into GP I saw that the batch had no transactions. When she would go to other computers she would use a different batch ID.
Happens to the best of us. Glad you figured it out. Thanks for the update.
