View schedule board sorted by requirement

Hi all

I want to view my schedule board by requirement (in my case Projects), not resources. So group the resources under the Project name rather than the Project booking under the resource name. Is there any way I can achieve this?

Thanks!

    Hi Partner,

Currently the schedule board can be viewed only with the resource booking and for the resources.

However you can post this feature request in https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/

Not perfect, but perhaps you can create different schedule boards for different projects? If that doesn't work, you can add a new filter in the schedule board filter pane to choose a specific project and then only resources with bookings would appear. Neither directly address what you are asking, but some ideas in case they help. Lastly, if resources are generally assigned to one project at a time, you can customize the resource sort order to sort by project they are booked on, and add a tag to the resource cell to list to show the projects they are on.

    Thnaks for this.

Can you help show me how I add the Project filter? I've been unable to figure out how to do this.

Also, I was thinking I'd like to have the color coding by project rather than resource booking capactiy. So I can see at a glance where everyone is booked to. Is that possible?

    Thnk you!

Its more of a dev experience than a configuration, but check out this documentation and give it a go. Let me know if/where you get stuck - docs.microsoft.com/.../extending-urs-step-by-step

We once have created something similar for reporting purposes with Power BI where we had Work Orders displayed at the vertical axis.
