Project not displaying MTD/PTD values for new fiscal year

A client is having an issue with a project now displaying the MTD and YTD amounts for 2021. I have analyzed the project transactions for this project and compared them to the totals in PJACTSUM which summarizes by Project/Task/Acct Category for each period in a fiscal year. The totals of the Project transactions are in this table correctly. However, in looking at the PJACTROL table, which summarizes solely by Project/Acct Category, I find that for some reason no records were created for this project in fiscal year 2021.

I’m looking for a few things:
1. What would have caused this to occur in the first place?
2. How can I determine if there are other projects where this occurred?
3. How do I fix the problem now? Will the PMA Integrity Check rebuild these?

Thanks!

After considerable testing on my test server, we ran this late yesterday, Jana. It did indeed resolve the issue. Thanks much for your help.

    Dear Stuart,

I think the integrity check should fix the issue on the one project.

Jana, as it turns out the project in question did not have the balance forward checked. I have checked it, but wondered about what else has to happen for the prior year expenses to show in PTD. Do I need to run the Project Controller Integrity Check to rebuild the summary tables for that project?

    Dear Stuart

    1. The user closing did not have full access rights to PA.YEC.00, or Balance Forward Check box in Project Maintenance is unchecked.

    2. If one project has the problem (and balance forward is checked) then likely they all have the problem.

    3. You can close as the sysadmin user or give the user closing access rights to the screen PA.YEC.00 run the closing process again and it will correct.

    Best Regards,
