Account to NAV Customer Card - simple integration

(0) ShareShare

Hello,

I am struggling to setup a very simple integration. All I need is the Accounts from CRM to sync through into NAV. I have activated the Map and can see it syncing every 45 seconds, but each time I see '0 written, 0 failed to write. The log doesn't contain any information at all. There are not any errors on any of the field mappings and I don't have any filters in place.

I have tested the Adapter Settings for both NAV and CRM and they are fine. In NAV, I have performed the necessary steps to Enable the Connector for my NAV company.

I have followed all of the steps in:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg481835(v=nav.70).aspx

Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Matt

which connector version do you use?

try with other predefined mappings. does the other mappings work correctly?

do the crm accounts already exist in nav?

    Version is 3.3.1007.1.

I have also tried syncing Contacts but none of these are coming across either.

There is no Account or Contact data in NAV yet. I have just verified this.

I have also removed all field mappings on the Accounts so that only the Account No, Account Name and Integration ID are mapped. This does not solve the problem though.

try following: change an account on crm side, then run the connector.

maybe also helps: remove the connector, re-install the whole thing.

Bizarrely, I think this has just triggered all the errors to come through. All I did was change an Account Name in CRM by adding a single character to the end.

I am now getting this error:

The HTTP service located at dynamicscrmemea.accesscontrol.windows.net/.../issuedtoken-asymmetric is unavailable.  This could be because the service is too busy or because no endpoint was found listening at the specified address. Please ensure that the address is correct and try accessing the service again later.

    And also:

The authentication endpoint AsymmetricToken was not found on the configured Secure Token Service!

so it seems you have a webservice configuration issue on crm side. it seems you use https. turn it off, try to use it with http (without ssl).

I don't know how to turn off https on CRM side. Not sure that's possible and besides, I want to use https anyway.

However, I've also allowed three http outbound connections in the Firewall relating to BranchCache and the errors I was seeing before are no longer appearing.

I have just one error now (which was also there previously).

did you set the integration key to the no. field?

    follow community.dynamics.com/.../157480.aspx

did you post your question also in the crm forum? there are a couple of threads about connector topics.

We don't use Account Numbers in CRM. The IntegrationID field is mapped to:

=If(IsEntityReferenceKey(Dynamics Integration Key), GetEntityReferenceKeyIdAsString(Dynamics Integration Key), Upper(Account ID))

I have just posted the issue in the CRM forum too.

i searched for the mentioned error "InternalError: 0x80041F08". it resulted in errors in connection to the antivirus tool sophos.
