Hi Everyone,

One of our customer has multiple clients installed on its server for Microsoft Dynamics Ax2012 R3.

But sometime the random clients crash and below error pops up on the screen.

However this doesn't stop AOS service and it allows accessing the system to other users.

After crash down when user tries to reopen the AX, it gets opened without any error.

I analyzed the event log, and below is the common warning recorded in Event viewer from Microsoft Dynamics Ax source,

The description for Event ID 110 from source Microsoft Dynamics AX cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

Below is Version of AX,

User has reported that there is no specific process that when he tries to access and the client crashes. Its been reported for any random processes.

Please help. Thank you in advance.

That the client can't connect to AOS doesn't necessarily mean that there is anything wrong with either of them. It may be a network issue.

    Hi Rhushikesh,

Is it happening for all clients or a few of them? How are the clients connecting to the AOS server? Are they on the same network or using VPN to connect?

    Hi Gunjan,

They are on same network. And happening for some of clients, not all clients.

    Hi Rhushikesh,

You can deleting the AUC files and do a "Refresh configuration" from AX client config to check if the issue gets resolved.

it could be a network issue as well. A good test would be to have these users connect from a different workstation (where the client does not crash) and check if they face the same issue. If they do, you might try resetting usage data and check if that takes care of the issue.

Thank you Gunjan and Martin, your both answers seem to be valid. It might be network issue.

I will try the solution suggested by you of deleting AUC files.
