I am using the Event Management in Dyn. for Marketing.
I am using Marketing Forms for Event Registration. Going "Live" with the Event enables the registration on the Event Portal with that form, so far so good.
When I "stop" the Event (Publish Status = "Draft") I would expect that also Event Registrations through the Event Portal are no longer possible, but with the "old" Event URL from that Event that I have send out to contacts I still can access the form on the Event Portal - even when the Event is no longer in Publish Status "Live" and even registering for the Event is still possible. This would not be my expectation.
Is this the known product behavior and if so, how can I disable that specific Event Registration form on the Event Portal if my Event is no longer in Publish Status = "Live"?
Hi, JL2222
I have tried to reproduce your issue and here are my results.
I have created an event called ‘Event 01’ and the option ‘Use marketing form for registration’ is set as Yes.
There’s a marketing form for registration of the event.
1. The Event Portal and the form on it can still be accessed even if the event has been stopped.
2. However, if you continue to use this form to register events, you will get the following message and the registration will not be successful.
Registering for an event is impossible, so you don't have to worry about it.
3. Finding the specific Event Registration form for the event and changing it to stop can eliminate the access to Portal on the form.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Nya
