Unified Interface Add new button Does Nothing

I have a CRM 365 V9 on premise that was migrated from 2011.

When using the unified interface when I click on Add New from a related entity sub grid nothing happens.

If I create a new organization that is blank the buttons work just fine. In both instances I am trying to add an opportunity to a contact.

I'm sure it is something legacy that has made it through the various migrations.

But it's driving me crazy.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

I would recommend to run browser developer tools (hit F12 on the keyboard), click the button and check if any errors pop up in the console.

I've run developer tools. No errors absolutely nothing happening when any of the ribbon buttons are pressed. Keep in mind that both of these entities are out of the box entities.

    Then I would recommend following:

    1. Create solution that contains opportunity.

    2. Download and install Ribbon Workbench.

    3. Open your solution from point 1 using Ribbon Workbench.

    4. Compare command attached to "Add New" button on the "Subgrid" of instance where button works as it should with instance where it's not. Find the difference and change it to be equal.

I've tried that as well. I even created a new button and doesn't work either. If I create a new button in my test empty organization it works.

I have even created a brand new form with no web resources attached and it does not work either.

It appears the migration has somehow messed up the unified ribbon but there doesn't seem to be much information about the unified ribbon working differently than the legacy mode which works correctly.

Is there anyone out there that have migrated from 2011 that has unified interface working?

I'm too adult to believe in miracles. There is an explanation why your buttons do not work in one instance but work in other. The other question is how hard to find that difference.

I've been beating this horse for a few weeks already.

Your right there is an explanation but finding the difference has eluded me so far.

This is the out of the box button that does not work.

This is button. What I would love to see is command. Can you click "Customize Command" on "Add" button and post screenshot here?
