Activity regarding field - Add custom tables to search

Hi all,

I have a custom table with a Customer lookup field. I add data via a form and save with a reference to a specific customer.

If I create a new Activity and try to search for the customer in the Regarding field, I get no result. Also, I cannot see the table in the "Results from: x types of records", but I can find it in "Advanced lookup"

Is it possible to add a custom table to the search in the regarding fields on an activity ( a task in this case )? And is it possible to search on every field in the table? Ex if I search for "Bruno" that is the Customer in the lookup field.

    Thanks for the reply!

    This solved the first part of my question.

    The answer to the second part, to be able to search on any column in the custom table, comes here :)

    You have to do a change in the Quick Find view that is a standard view on every table.

    Go into edit mode for the view and add searchable columns down in the right corner by clicking the link "Edit find table columns ..."

    now you have the possibility to search for Bruno in the regarding search field
