Hi All
On F&O 10.0.0.23
Anyone know which entity I would use to get onhand inventory for a given legal entity using oData?
Thanks
Mark
Hi Mark,
There are various different entities. Which one to use depends on your requirements and inventory break-down per e.g. site or warehouse. All these entities do contain 'OnHand' in the name.
e.g:
- CDSInventoryOnHandEntitiy
- InventorySiteOnHand
- WarehouseOnHandV2
You also might have a look at a new Inventory visibility service which can be used for external calls also: Inventory Visibility Add-in overview - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs
I think this new service might be the future direction from Microsoft.
FYI
/data/WarehousesOnHandV2?&cross-company=true&$filter=dataAreaId eq 'xxxx' and InventoryWarehouseId eq 'yyyy' - works
/data/InventorySitesOnHandV2?&cross-company=true&$filter=dataAreaId eq 'xxxx' and InventoryWarehouseId eq 'yyyy' - works, but cannot get or filter by warehouse name
The public collection name for the CDS entity is "CDSInventoryOnHandEntries", but I just get this response. Not sure why
So I got this working, but unfortunately, I'm missing the batch ID's anyone know how to get onhand with batches via oData?
