Hi there,
I have system administrator access which is the highest level access but I don't have the option to add permissions to roles, I can only view permissions. However I cannot view permissions for a 'System Administrator' role. Could there have been restrictions put in place when our Dynamics HR was set up? How can I fix this?
Thank you
Hi,
There are no Duties/Privs shown for System Admin role because it has no restrictions.
If you are adding/removing access from a standard role, I recommend making a copy of the standard role and customising that instead.
Hi Theresa,
I'm glad you found the solution. Could you please mark the answer as suggested answer so that it can help others?
Thanks Parag. Are we meant to be able to see the list of duties? I can see the list when I click on other security roles.
I just wanted to add some duties to a Human Resource Manager role, which I think I have figured out. I click on the role 'Human Resource Manager' then 'Privileges' then 'Add references', select 'create workers'. So hopefully the user assigned the 'Human Resource Manager' role will now be able to create workers as they could not do so before. Will test this tomorrow with them :)
Thanks again!
Yes, I can't see too. As a System Administrator, you will have access to all duties and privileges. What security roles, duties and privileges are you looking for?
Thank you for your response Parag. I have followed the steps but it does not show any duties.
You need to go security configuration.
You can go to System Administration > Security > Security configuration
Select System Administrator and go to reference.
