seems like I was missing some update information in the past. It's been a wile since I was using Custom Help Links in Dynamics CRM last time.
Right now (ver. 9.1.x) it's not working as expected.
After activating (Administration-> System Settings->General Tab), global custom help url is working fine (Question mark top right open my custom link).
But custom help on entity level is not working(?). There is no help link or menu to call the deposited help url.
Is custom help also deprecated? Or is there something I missed?

Update for all facing the same issue.
I was able to talk to Microsoft Support (thanks for your assistance) and I got the confirmation, that the custom context Help URL is not working as expected. This should be fixed in a future update. Right now, I have no resilient timeframe. So I will use old school customizing and put a button on each form, where context help is required.

I am also having trouble setting a custom Help URL on the entity level, so here I would advise you to open a support request with Microsoft Support, so they can investigate further, as we might be dealing with a problem with the Application itself.

Yes, I did activate the General custom Help URL. This is working as expected. The users will get to the main page of the custom defined help pages. The help link is available on the main navigation -
What I need is activate specific help pages on defined entities.
So in each entity, a specific URL to the custom help area can be defined. This was working last time, I was requested to use this feature.
On old form layout, like the solution form, there is still the Help menu available. This was the way on record level to call the specific help pages (if I remember correctly).
I want to use this feature and use the already existing custom help pages. Just by referencing them on the entity.
And I don't want to rework all custom help pages to Learning Path (by now). This is too confusing for the users.
So was this feature dropped by switching to Unified Interface? Or is there a secret setting, I'm missing.

When you mention the custom help not working on an entity level, do you mean that the [?] button is missing inside of an entity form ?
Did you enable the setting "Use custom Help for customizable entities" in the System Settings ?
I have tried this myself, and it seems to be working correctly.
