Balance Account Number for Payment Journals

Hi:

As I tried to access the CASH payment journal, I got a message basically saying that its Balance Account Number does not exist.

So, I added the account and was able to open the journal. Then, I changed the journal's Balance Account Number and saved.

I no longer get this error. In fact, I deleted the account number afterward from the chart.

But, the "bogus" account number still displays upon accessing the main window that lists the payment journals. Is there any way to remove the display of this Balance Account Number?

Which country version / product version are we talking about here?
