The voucher transactions report in Ax 2012 do not show item part description.
Any idea if there is any report whiich can suffice this or how to achieve the same

I have seen people using the item number as a financial dimension to make them visible in their ledger vouchers.
Yet, I have never seen somebody using the item description.
Why would you like to have the item description in the voucher?

The issue is not completed.
since the item dimension are not defined, i need the item details against each voucher transactions when i run the report (GL-voucher transactions) . Do we have any way of getting the item details or any standard report available where i can see the item details of each ledger transactions posted. What is the best way to achieve where the voucher transaction will show the item details .
I think that you might need some development to get down to the details you are interested in.
What might be an alternative are the standard cubes that might help here. I have not checked them for the details you are looking out for but I would recommend you doing that. There might be the one or the other thing that you can 'borrow' from those standard cubes for your own report. Also, it might be the case that the cubes already give you all the information you are looking for.
