Export individual objects from model

Is it possible to export individual objects (custom objects) from a custom model? (Similar to XPOs in AX 2012)
I don't want to create a deployable package from my model as it has some POC and test objects that I don't want to include.

@Komi Saibi is correct.  The best way to do this is via a Visual Studio project.  This is a one-off scenario that won't be used again.  Thanks!

    Hi b_radlyjames,

Do you need to deliver customizations to a customer or moving some objects to another development environment? In case you want to create a deployable package with a set of objects, you can use DevOps for checking in objects. Check in the objects that are ready from development point of view. A release pipeline can then perform a build on a test environment. After testing the isolated changes, you can merge them to another branch for a release.

    Hi  b_radly,

I'm not aware of any way in "Visual Studio" that can allow you to choose specific elements. Therefore, I agree that if you need to deploy some changes, then you will need to remove the un-needed elements/changes from your model then create a deployable package.

    Thanks,

Note that exporting a project isn't a way how to deploy your customizations. That could just help to transfer the objects to another development environment.

If you want to deploy your model, you'll need to remove those changes. If the POC isn't yet committed to source control, you can simply shelve the changes. If it it, you'll need to rollback the changeset(s).

    Hello James,

Add the object(s) to a project and export it without having to create a Deployable package.
