How to add table in lookup for query filter

Hi,

How to add a table for this lookup.

I need to add custtrans table in this lookup. Anyone give some idea or example.

Either add it into the query (in AOT or code, depending how the query is created) or add it at the Join tab in the dialog. Note that the latter option doesn't allow you to choose the type of join, which might be a problem.

Hi,

In addition to what martin said, make sure you extend the query CustAgingReport and add the custtrans datasource

What do you mean by "this join is a tree" and what is "this"?

Isn't the query CustAgingReport, as mentioned by Mohammad?

Hi martin,

I can join the table using by join tab in cust aging report. but how to add a table by correspondent metadata.

I personalized the corresponding form they used datasource tree. How to add the table by using that tree.

Hi martin,

Sorry for the less information about my post.

Now I'm working in Custagingreport.

I need to add one more table in the ssrs filter. they are used the "Custagingreport" query for that filter So I created an extension of the query(custagingreport) and added the custtrans table and created the relation.

Now I can select custtrans table and select the filed But I'm unable to open the report. When I open the report showing this error.

How to solve this. Give some idea.

Unfortunately you didn't tell us what changes you made to the query, but it sounds like you used an inner join, which changes what the query returns. If a customer has 100 transactions, your query will return 100 records for the customer, which is not a correct input for the record.

What you should do depends on what you want to achieve; I guess that using an exists join is what you need.
