    Hi,

You have to do from account structures. Remove that interval from the structure.

    Hi Billur ,

Thanks for your suggestion, but the thing is I don't want to remove that combination Entirely, here is the example Scenario,

    so I have Main Account  11110, and then Department Dimension Values as 100 - Sales, 200 - Marketing, 300 - Procurement, 400 - Logistics

let's say I need to restrict only 11110-300  combination, except that  I need to let users use other Dimension values with 11110 Main account. also, I cannot block "300 - Procurement" dimensions since its using with other Main accounts

    Regards,

    AP

    Hi Amith,

Yes this was my intension.  In account structures, if you select the departments to use for that spesific account,  You can reach your goal. If you do not select  any spesific dimension, then system allows you to select all in transactions.

    Hi Amith,

You need to work other way for your scenario, in accounts structure specify allowed values so that it will not allow other values.

For this, as others have noted, use your account structure.

    Example setup:

    Main Account Department
    10000..11109 *
    11110 100;200;400
    11111..19999 *

    Thanks all,

it's working as expected, rather than specifying all the allowable values, I managed to restrict only the required value using Not Operator *!300*, because otherwise, I will need to add future ones one by one.

So it will look like the below.

    Main Account      Business     Department

    11110                    *                *!300*

I'm testing currently, I will update the thread if I found any issues.

    Regards,

    Amith Prasanna
