How to find reserved physical origin

Hi everyone,

I have an item with a quantity set as reserved physical that I need to free. The problem is I couldn't find the related transaction or sales order that reserved it in the first place.

How can we do that ?

Thanks!

you should be able to find reserved physical qty of an item on 'on hand' screen, you can enable dimension to see exact qty at each dimension. Same screen have transaction button which should tell you the transaction holding that qty. If you cant see it in transaction but on 'on hand' screen then there is data inconsistency. Is that the case for you?

Yes apparently someone deleted the transaction that's why I'm not able to see it. When I open the lot Id details and try Inventory > Reservation to free them, I get this message :

"You cannot view reservations for the selected inventory transaction because the original reference line has been deleted."

Do you know if there's  a way to "unreserve" this quantity without the original transaction ?

I dont think so from front end. Seems it is deleted from backend. If you can insert original transaction from backend it should work.

I deleted the record from the InventTrans table and it looks like it worked!
