Hi All
I'm Creating a dashboard in Power BI using CustInvoiceTrans , InventTable and InventDim tables , I want to get the cost of the items within the specified period ? is theire anyway to get it direct from this tables or I need to add Inventtrans & InventTransOrigin to the datasource of the Dashboard ?

What kind of costs are you looking for and what cost valuation principle do you use (Fifo, Lifo, etc.)

Hi the weighted average
We are doing inventory closing and adjustment and recalculation every month using the weighted average principle and according to it we are getting the cost of the items in the inventory value report and the inventory transaction with the correct value.
I see.
But even then the costs might subsequently change if a transaction is not fully settled in one month and is then picked up in the next inventory close.
The inventory value report is the right 'base' for your PowerBI analysis in my opinion.
