Is there a 3rd party product or any way you can limit vendor card security by vendor class? We don't want everyone to have access to all our vendors. We recently assigned vendor classes so you can easily identify vendor groups, however; every clerk should not be able to see all vendors. Is there an easy way to do this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would think this is a common request by other companies.

I have achieved this sort of row level filtering using GP Power Tools - Developer Tools module.

You would just need to decide on the business rules that control the access to vendors and then use triggers to add a SQL where clause to limit what can be seen.

You can install and activate a free 30 day trial period.
