Getting error message CompanySched SE does not exist. Identification fields and values: Date=",Resource No="

We are buying product for a client and flowing it through a job.  We bought one item plus shipping.  The job type is Item, and the project number is blank.  We did not use start date/end date.  However, when trying to close the job, we get the error message above.

Does anyone know what this means and how to fix this on an existing job?

Thanks for any help.

    Hi Everyone,

I have a solution for the error message.  The Company Schedule button on the Job Advance Setup Page had to be run again.  This eliminated the error message, and allowed the dates to work.

    Have a great weekend!

Hi Jonathan, and Happy New Year.

The steps that seemed to create the situation are:

    1. Create a Master Job for Customer Orders
    2. Make it an item order
    3. Create a sub job for the customer
    4. The job has a begin task and end task and one task for material.
    5. There is not any open or start date.
    6. The planning line has the items ordered by the customer as well as a line for shipping and custom charges.
    7. Create the purchase order and order the two items
    8. Receive the purchase order and then invoice the purchase order, and attach to the job
    9. Wait several days and invoice the shipping charges, and attach to the job.
    10. Create an invoice for the job and bill the customer.
    11. Run the job close process, and get the error.
    12. Try to enter a new master job with regular processes, create a sub job, put in start date, and get the same error.

I did not get any other error messages, and the system seems to work fine except for not being able to put in dates on jobs.

    Thanks,

    Judith

please describe more details. with which steps did you get that error ?

which pages did you use (job tasks, job planning lines, ...) ?

what was your input data? what were the main values in the job card?

theses infos are needed to reproduce your scenario.
