I am looking to be able to change a shipment date on a line for a sales quote, however, when I attempt to do so with a released or pending approval quote, it errors out, and says that the sales quote has to be opened. Any work arounds for this?
Unfortunately, as far as I know there is no way. . .
Unless you customize the standard logic to skip this check.
