Partial pick on Assembly Order - is it possible?

We have a basic assembly process and was wondering if it is possible to have a partial pick on an Assembly order at the start of the build, then pick the balance as it is consumed.

at the moment we have to wait until the end of the process and pick all items in the assembly which means our inventory remains inaccurate during the assembly

Thanks. I don't believe its possible... full Production module is going to be necessary
