Hi, I need to create a lookup from an Account to a custom entity named Sector. This custom entity only has a Name column.

Hi need that this column shows values in multiple Languages based on the Language choosen by the user.

How can achive this? Please note that I cannot use an option set because in a future this should be a multiple value link.

Thanks

    Hello,

CRM does not provide any out of box way to change your data in different language, so you have to develop this manually, Now to display data in different language, first you need to store data in all the possible language after then you can load the data based on the current language code, It may be that you could setup different fields for different language, for example let's say currently you are have two language, so you could have two field created one for language a and one of language b, not you can have logic to check current language code and then hide other field based on the code, but is is not a good option because if near future you want to support another language you need to updated all the existing data.

The other option could be setup an integration with google or bing to translate English default based on the user language code. So you could develop custom plugin/workflow for the same.

    Check this: markmargolis.wordpress.com/.../real-time-language-translation-with-microsoft-crm-bing-north52

    Thanks

    Hi,

I describe a way of doing this using plugins in my post - community.dynamics.com/.../multi-language-lookups

The other approach would be to replace the lookup with a web resource using the lookup control in SparkleXRM - www.sparklexrm.com

    Hope this helps,

    Scott
