Hello, I have a question how to key in description for "allocation" journal.
We are using Dynamics AX 2012R2 CU6, and I have configured, ledger allocation rule, and basis and "Process allocation requiest" successfully generate new allocation journal.
After checked the lines, everything seems fine and wanted to key-in some comments in "Description" fileds, but AX does NOT allow me to key-in anything, but just pops up warning with the message
"You entered a reason that already exists in the reason table and is not valid for one or more account types. Enter a different reason."
I haven't specified any reason code when process allocation request. so I tried to specify one reason code, but this didn't help at all.
So can anyone tell me how to edit "description" field after process allocation requests ? If this is not possible, we may have to give up to use allocation function...

About this topic, after I have investigated the source code, had to end up with customize...
Anyway, now I can use this allocation function with description editable...
