Extracting Item Card Dimensions via Web Service

Hi,

I'm attempting to extract certain information from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 via a web service. I am unable to locate the page which contains the Default Dimensions that have been listed against Item Cards.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

We can easily add all the fields to the page. Under the repeater group press F3 to insert new row or directly select the field menu and then select all other fields which you wanted on form. Save and exit

    Hi,

I don't think the field addition require Developer License. You just need to follow steps to add fields.

    1. Design the page  540.

    2. In The Repeater Group, click F3 to insert a Blank Row.

    3. Lookup in SourceExpr Column, to select field.

    4. Select Rec, Field Name & Table Id as shown below.

    5. Once Selected Save the Page.

Now you will be able to see Table ID in Web Services Exposed.

You need developer license to add the fields to Page, if you don't have developer license contact your NAV partner.

I'm unable to add the fields to the page, only 3 fields are available to choose from (Dimension Code, Dimension Value and Value Posting) and they are already on the page.

    Hi

If you want to have all the fields of Table Default Dimension, either you can add the fields to the Page Default Dimension(540), or you can create a new page for Default dimension and you can use.

We are using the ReadMultiple operation but we are unable to filter correctly through the filter parameter. Also, the generated output seems to be the fields that are showing in the Window instead of all the fields within the Table, how can we change this so the web service extracts all the fields in the Table of Default Dimensions (540)?

We're extracting the raw data for use in an outside application. However, the extracted Default Dimensions data does not contain any information that links it to data we extracted from the Item Cards page.

If you have developer license, you just need to design the page and add the Table ID from the field menu.

Below example shows how to add fields and create page
