Bespoke CSS in Landing page

Posted on by 509

Hi

The company I'm working with wants to have a conciisted look and feel across all it's branding. So they want me to add images/css etc... from their main website.

Is there an easy way to integrate this into a Landing Page?

I'm trying to avoid as much coding as possible as the people responsible for the pages day to day upkeep will not have technical skills.

Is there somewhere I can upload the css file (the relevant css file isn't hosted anywhere accessable - as it's lifted direct from a legacy CRM)

Thanls

    Hi Lee

Did you manage to find a solution to this yet? Apologies but I've been working on other projects recently.

Also now, the page is blank.

The source code is all there, but the page just displays a white blank page

    Hi Lee

This is a Marketing Page within the Marketing app yes? Have you used an OOTB template to build this or have you created your own template for this?

The first image is how it looks in a web page, the second how it looks in the designer.

I need to be able to edit the image when  necessary, and also change the line over the image which says "Insert Your Text Here"

Both are blocked by the menu's in the designer view, and the marketing team needs to be able to change this with the drag and drop. There are no html/css/js skills in that team, so using the drag and drop for this is mandatory for my task.

    Hi Lee

Do you happen to have a page I can look at to see what is going on? Even an image of what you are seeing may prove useful.

    Thanx

    Hi

I've managed to pu tthe CSS in the marketing page templates the web page hosting was a non starter)

However the drop down menu's are displaying in full in both the designer and preview view.. This is now blocking a header image (a background image to a column), with a headline and company logo. These 3 components need to be editiable by the markting team using the drag and drop functionaity.

How do I stop my css top menu's from hiding these in the designer and preview views?

    Thanks
    Lee

    Hi Lee

You can only host the Marketing Form. You will see this in the Marketing Form area under the Form Hosting tab.

I thot the problem you faced was because of the Marketing Page issue? If they don't want to "mess" with Headers/footers then the easiest option would be to host the Marketing Form on their own website (and this form would then be wrapped with whatever styles they are using on their main website).

The Marketing Page is used instead of an external website. You'd add your form to that Marketing Page and this would be styled completely independently from the main external website (although you can bring in the styles using a link to their stylesheet but you indicated that was an issue very earlier on).

    Steven
