Add and Post General Journal Line via web service?

Currently, the accounting group at my company uses a Dataport to import CSV data into a General Journal batch. After importing, they post the lines. We'd like to automatic this process via a web service.

I'm familiar with using web services to interact with NAV, but I haven't found a way to accomplish this particular objective. I've tried publishing Page 39 as a service, but it doesn't provide any methods to add item or post items.

Is this possible with NAV 2009?

which program you are using to create the web service client ?

Good info. Unfortunately, we don't have a developer license so we can't add or edit code units.

Are there any others ways this could be accomplished?

I'm familiar with consuming the web service on the client side. The issue is creating a web service in NAV that will provide the ability to create/post General Journal items.
