I have an issue where if I search for a record in the primary view of a custom entity in our CRM, it only returns results from a certain date range (using a custom date field). This primary view only filters by active records and nothing else, and there are no extra filters applied. Before I search for a specific record, the view shows all records including the ones I am searching for, but once the search is applied these records disappear and only ones from a few years ago are present.
Is it possible that there is a setting somewhere in the background that only allows a search between certain dates, or any other reason for this? This is our only custom entity that does this.

Hi,
What is the filter criteria applied on the search? Can you take the screen shot of the filter, remove the filter < save and close < publish the customization. Then try and check if the issue persist. If not then issue is with the filter critaria.
