My apologies if I put this in the wrong forum...
I am using nav 2015 and am creating a Word report layout using office 2013.
In the report design, I have added a field "Posting Date"
When I add this field to my Word report, I get the date and time displayed.
However, I just want the date to display.
Could someone point me to a post that explains how I can do this please.

In your design change the source expression to FORMAT("Posting Date",0,'<Closing><Month,2>/<Day,2>/<Year>') and you can define different formats, check the link for different formats you can use
Please add FORMAT("Posting Date") in Report design and it should solve automatically in word layout.
