Purchase Order stuck in status "In Review"

Dear experts,

I keep getting this error for one of our PO:

" Stopped (error): X++ Exception: Changes to the document are only allowed in state Draft, because change management is activated.
at SysWorkflowEvaluationProvider-evaluateCondition
SysWorkflowEvaluationProvider-evaluate
SysWorkflowQueue-resume "

Originally PO was submitted for approval and confirmed later that day. Due to lack of information on the PO, we had to "Request change" and update "Confirmed delivery date" and re-sumbmit the PO for approval, where we now get this error message shown above.

I`ve checked the workflows/batch jobs - no errors there. Also tried de-activate "change management" to see if that helps - still drops out the error message

I tried to update same information for the other PO and they all seems to be workings fine, its just this one that stuck in status "in review". Any suggestions are welcome

Regards

V

    Dear Viz,

I have also seen some issue with change management. I will suggest better to user recall functionality of the workflow. Recall the workflow and do the required changes in PO and submit for workflow process rather to use change management.

    Hi Kumar,

We tried to recall the workflow and submit the PO, while the "change managment" tick box disabled , we still keep getting the same error message. Unless there's other settings we are missing to make "change management" fully inactive. Still looking for solution to solve this mystery

    Regards

There is setup in vendor master called override change management. Try to do that with vendor.

Where do I find this menu? Sorry found it

Edit: I tried it - and it didn't help. I guess im stuck with this PO & its status "in review". There must be a solution for it somewhere

Ok - it took a while, but I managed to change the status to "confirmed" using different method. PO still had a reminder for items to be delivered, but they already been delivered and used for production. The issue I had is that the "goods-inwards" never created "Product Receipt" for it. So now when I`m trying to do so - I keep getting this error...

" Physical remaining quantity in the stock unit ea must be other than zero.

Under-delivery of line is 50.00 percent, but the allowed under-delivery is only 0.00 percent.

    Update has been cancelled. "

To be able to get my worklflow and PO approved I had to increase PO Line quantity to match delivery reminder qty and the qty that could be received at "goods-inwards" again.

    Any suggestions are welcome..

    Regards

You can check the allowed under-delivery in PO line details.

    Hi,

I have had this happen to me a few times, and I cannot explain why. The workaround is to first recall the workflow, and then click on the Totals (Sum) button on the ribbon, then click on submit.

The reason I believe has something to do with the Source Document line and Header tables, these tables inherit the status of the PO and sometimes are out of synch with the PO header and lines tables, by clicking the Sum button or the View distributions button AX will then resynch the Source document line tables and the status of the PO should be returned to Draft.

    Hope this helps,

    Ziad

The method of recalling and clicking "Total" Button, then resubmit worked for our setup.

    Thanks!
