I have installed SQL server 2012 power pivot for SharePoint 2013 in windows server 2008 r2 sp1 enterprise edition. But I'm getting the stopped working window when I try to configure power pivot using PV config tool for SharePoint.
Got this error in the windows event viewer

its look like the compatibility issues but SharePoint 2013 is compatible for 2008 r2 sp1 server and office products are 2010 here. do we need office also in 2013 please correct me.

Your problem is related to Dynamics AX?
