Hi All

when i am generating the "Customer Account statement " report, for some of the customer it will generate the report on the screen and for some it is converting to the PDF and saving to the temp folder. Can you please suggest me why it is happening for some customers only.

Hi Imran,

I think there is print management configuration against customers which the report is converted into PDF and saving to the temp folder , you can check that from customers screen -> print management.

it is possible that you have conditional print management setting as follow:

From the Accounts receivable Form setup form, open the Print management setup form.

Expand the customer statement, right-click the copy record titled Customer Copy, and check if there is conditional setting is displayed in the list.

I checked there is no conditional print setup, and also clear the user data, it is showing me the same, some result in report and some saved in pdf in temp folder.

Have you tried go to different AX user/computer and then printing?

It sounds like usage data.

Please delete your AUC-file and try again.

Delete the usage data from Tools>Option > Usaga data > clear

also delete the AUC file from different clients.

I already delete the .aux file from the user and reset the usage data. Again having the same issue.

But in the user Appdata\local folder there are some files of extension WSDL, XSD, KTI what are these file.

Customer Account Statement External report is designed in such a way that it prints in different report viewer screen for each customer. Run the report for 3 or 4 customer you will see 3 or 4 screens of report will open.

Ask developer to change the logic in controller class to make it appear in single report viewer screen.

Hi,

i believe this is based on Print Management setting activated on this report. If the number of screen output exceeds 5, then other outputs are diverted to pdf.
