Hey,
I'm creating a power BI report which involves displaying a person and their manager to create a reporting line.
I've linked the worker table back to another worker table joining on managerworkerid to workerid.
I would now like to update some people on talent to make sure that this works but I can't figure out where it's done. Where can I assign a manager to a worker?
Thanks,
Bradley
You have to use position entities (Positions V2 and Position hierarchies are two entities) which will give you name and reporting manager info. In D365 talent, reporting hierarchy will be defined at positions (a position reports to another position but not a worker reporting to worker)
Thanks for the response; I had a feeling that might be the case.
Thank you for your help :)
We don't have any entities names Positions V2 and or Position hierarchies however have the following. Position is empty, no values. I am guessing the other 3 would be the ones I use to establish the manager? Digging through them, not very straight forward to do something that should be quite simple.
Job Position
Position
Position Type
Position Worker Type
