Are you able to establish a connection with port 2712 using Telnet ?

We tried connecting one machine from Bangalore connected with Dubai domain, client access is working fine. I tried with port 2712, it works.

But the machines physically available in Dubai domain does not work for client access to Bangalore AOS

    Thanks for the response Matt.

Please suggest the solution for this issue.

    Regards,

    Rajiv.

Do you have any firewall software on the client machines that could be blocking the Ax32.exe client application from connecting to the AOS?

I suppose that its also possible that you are exceeding the latency limits for the AX client although I wouldn't have expected that to manifest as a failed connection.

    Hi Malcolm,

What do u mean by Latency limit excess?

    There is no firewall issue.

    Thanks,

    Rajiv

See the WAN environments section of the AX 2012 System Requirements document (go.microsoft.com/fwlink).

    What to do now?

    Thanks,

    Rajiv

    Hi,

I think you will increase the possibility of getting help in this matter if you provide information about the following:

    1. Servers in the AX Solution
    2. Service Accounts (Service Account AOS)
    3. Domain Details
    4. Latency between the sites
    5. Details around how the Clients Connect to each site (directly over WAN bu VPN or through RDP/ICA)
    6. Network details like Firewalls and Routing

    Chek followings,

    1. Whether your AOS Server Name /Server Domain Resolves without issue (you can use nslookup command)

2.Check whether appropriate firewall ports are open.

3.Check your Ax client configuration pointed to correct aos server.

    4. Network Latency

    Hope this will help.

    Amith Prasanna
