Good Practice is to take a backup before uninstall. you can find it here C:\Users\[ClientUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\

the personalization is being saved on below folder :
C:\Users\[ClientUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\
Just make sure you save backup and copy back once you have reinstalled.
