Hello, I want to rename item number use record info:
and show error message: It is not allowed to rename the Item number.I think it suppose to rename even that item has transactions, right? because it said it will update all references. Thanks for your kind help.

About the renaming issue:
Can't you simply create a new item and put the one on hold for all kind of transactions?
This seems the better solution to me especially if you have already transactions recorded for that item.
