combobox is not showing up

Hi Friends,

I drop a combobox on a form, points to a table, set a field, but table has no data yet. Visible property is set to true.

But, run the form, it's not showing up. Is it a data issue?

Many thanks.

River

could it be possible blocked by other control? when you have two or more on form.

Can you be more specific? Where did you put the control?

By the way, try resetting form personalization, it might help.

    Hi Martin,

It's our own Form. from personalization, it's not there, reset didn't work. But, it's on design.

    • Make sure if AutoDeclaration property of control is set to yes or no. If its yes, make sure no code is hiding it at runtime.

    • Check Configuration Key and CountryRegionId of field, if that is making contradiction with your license

Maybe you didn't implement the splitter correctly. Try to remove it for a moment.

    Hi Sohaib,

    AutoDeclaration is 'No'.

    Other two are empty.

    Thanks,

    Hi Martin,

I add the splitter there because I couldn't see it, now I removed it, still now showing up.

    Thanks,

Try to restore and recompile the form. Check all properties with non-default values. If the control is bound to a field, ensure yourself that it's visible.

Ok, Gentlemen, I believe it's my datasource/datafield problem, the combobox showup if I don't set those, if I do, then it won't.

The table is empty at this moment. Is that why?

No, you would get an empty control. I guess that the field isn't set to be visible.
