New and empty resource requirement after booking via schedule board

We have an issue when we try to book a resource requirement (with details and characteristics) via the schedule board with the board settings "Hourly" and "Gantt" is applied. After booking, a new and empty resource requirement (no details, no characteristics) will be created and booked. The original resource requirement remains open and the newly booked is obviously wrong.

What we do exactly:

1. Create a new resource requirement on a custom entity configured for resource scheduling
2. Create a resource requirement detail with the date and time
3. Assign a characteristic to the requirement
4. Select the resource requirement on the schedule board
5. Hit "Find Availability"
6. Select "Gantt" and "Hourly"
7. Click on the free slot of a resource (person)
8. Click Book & Exit

If we use "Gantt" and "Daily" instead of "Gantt" and "Hourly" everything works as expected.

Has anyone an idea what could cause this issue?

Thanks in advance.
