Contacts Synchronization

Hi, all,

We have a client and he wants to export his contacts to CRM.

We set up his sync with online exchange and I supposed all his contacts must be exported to CRM automatically, but in fact they don't.

He has server mode synchronization, there is no filters, he already exported contacts from on-site to cloud, but no contacts in the list. What I'm doing wrong? Or may be it doesn't work so?

Another one question about D 365 outlook client. As I thought it was deprecated, but I found last version https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56972

What is the diff between "Dynamics 365 App for Outlook" and D 365 outlook client? When I need one or another?

    Hi Andrey,

    Tracking contacts in Dynamics 365 for Outlook is a manual process. This gives you the ability to keep your personal contacts separate from your Customer Engagement contacts. Synchronization of contacts from Customer Engagement to Dynamics 365 for Outlook is automatic, however.
