BC CRM - How to add a follow up task on opportunity tasks

Hi All

We are using the standard Business Central opportunities and add tasks. Then creating tasks linked to opportunities, we can add a new task but cannot add a follow up task linked to the original task. For example send quote is one task and a follow up task could be a phone call

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

Are sales cycles not covering enough detail here where you assign activity codes, made of many tasks? I get that the the phone call might be a child task but it forms part of the overall sales cycle you want to be completed for that opportunity.

The sales cycles are a broader classification and the requirement is for tasks within them linking one task to another. So I guess task linkage is not possible as standard
