AX 2012 R2 Service and AIF Inbound ports (NetTcp adapter)

Hi

I have one new created port name with NetTcp adapter, in URI: field it says inet.tcp://AOS_SERVICE_HOST/DynamicsAx/Services/xxxx

and

WSDL URI: field http://AX01:8104/DynamicsAx/Services/xxx

Why does not servername show in first URI: field? can I change it manually by change DefaultServiceGroupEndPoint configuration and type same servername and port as in WSDL URI?

Regards,

I don't think that AX stores the actual service host name anywhere - if it did and the name had changed, you would have to reconfigure all ports.

WSDL address is not stored anywhere either, it's simply computed at runtime. It's probably done just for your comfort, so you can easily copy the address and use it in a service reference in Visual Studio, for example.
