Announcements
Hi,
I have one Canvas App called Facility Safety Management app. From this app, Azure AD users of an organization can register day pass and book themselves. This Canvas app is integrated to Portal and now from this portal, external users can be able to book daily pass but when I sign-in as a guest user and tried booking day pass it is by default booking with employee AD account email and not with the guest user email. My requirement is guest users can be able to book daily pass from his account not with AD account to enter into facility building.
Hi Sam,
My scenario is, guest users able to login into portal and should be able to access canvas app from the portal and they should be able to book a day pass through portal. I'm able to sign-in and tried to book day pass but it the day pass is booking by default with Active Directory employee email not with the guest user/ email ?. Here outside must be able to book pass by themselves from their local email.
It seems that your portal allows both azure ad users as well as guest user’s, but guest users are trying to use AD login instead of using local portal login.
You can customize caption of the Azure AD login button so that the guest users will not try to sign it using it. Please refer the below link for the same:
For configuring portal authentication, please refer the below article:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/configure-portal-authentication
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
