610My client is in the midst of implementing SOP and Inventory. They will use SOP to generate sales invoices daily. Items invoiced will be at full price say $100 but there will also be discounts or allowances by line item. We'd like to be able to track by line item the discount or allowance available, but invoice at full price. Is that possible? A couple of additional thoughts:
1) I see we have a mark down option, but that adjusts the invoice price downwards. A 50% mark down will create a net invoice of $50 instead of at the $100. That does not work for this case
2) I can sum the line item discounts and put them in the terms discount available area. It creates a discount available amount, but does not provide visibility by line item.
Do we have any other options available for tracking the item price and possible discounts? Are there any third party invoicing tools that may address this issue? Please advise. Look forward to a reply. Thank you.
