I'm working on a research scenario which involves a training simulation within Dynamic Guides. I would like at a point in the scenario to have the guides user call in some help. Is it possible to set this up in Guides and not have the person come out of guides at all.

Hi Adrian, thank you for posting. This isn't possible today but it is a scenario we are investigating. In the meantime you can manually start an RA call after starting Guides as described here: docs.microsoft.com/.../get-help-hololens-app-hololens
Correct me if I'm wrong, but for now Remote Assit close all other launched applications when you launch it.
The 3d window of the other application is still visible, but when you will try to resume it, it will restart.
I think you are forced to launch Remote Assist call before launching your other application.
