Morphy VCS to TFS

Hi Friends,

After successfully set up and migrate to TFS from Morphy VCS, we got new problem.

I setup local repository folder on my PC, but, other developer was prompt with error 'can't find the folder' which is on my machine.

And apparently, you can only set up one repository folder for AX 2009.

First question is, everyone has to use shared repository folder?

When I try to use shared folder, keep getting error "X:\\Definition\VCSDef.xmol could not be opened", then the file was deleted.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

River

Do I understand correctly that you're trying to use TFS in an environment shared by several developers? It's not supported; you either must follow the way how it's designed (one AOS per developer etc.; details in documentation) or you would have to implement some sort of support by yourself (you can find some ideas and code on internet).

Thanks Martin, by any chance you have links to those ideas?

Like this. But think twice if your knowledge of TFS is good enough to implement such a thing by yourself and configure TFS properly. You could reuse some parts of the solution from AX 2012, but it's not completely the same in AX 2009 (e.g. you have to take Team Server into account).

    Thanks a lot!
