Hi DAXers,

while trying to generate/run any report, system raising this error message:

Error while setting server report parameters. Error message: The DefaultValue expression for the report parameter ‘AX_CompanyName’ contains an error: The file exists.
 (rsRuntimeErrorInExpression)

I have already searched a lot about the cause of the error and the solution, but no one has broken into this point "The file exists."

Please, help.

    Hi Ahmed Siliem,

    Do you mean this issue happens for any standard reports?

    If this is a new error what changes were made prior to the error occurring?

    Have you edited the parameter 'AX_CompanyName'? If not, have you tried to do a full CIL, then restart SSRS, and redeploy all SSRS reports?

    thanks for your response,

    Yes, it is happening with all standard report on the test server after restoring a Backup from the live server, while it does not occur on the live server.

    No, I have not edited the parameter.

    Yes, I have tried full CIL and redeploy one report only for testing, but it is still showing the same message.

    Have you found a solution? I've been searching for days...

    I have nearly the same error as you, my DB is also a copy of a live database:

    Error while setting server report parameters. Error message: The DefaultValue expression for the report parameter ‘AX_CompanyName’ contains an error: Unable to find appropriate service endpoint information in the configuration object.
